What stories about him being homesick? If anything the stories about him going into coaching in Australia (implying ongoing injury issues) are the ones that are being called into question by this news. Maybe he just didn't settle in Leeds, didn't have a clear idea what he wanted to do next, and then a good opportunity presented itself? Maybe France suits him better than Leeds? Maybe men having their hair a couple of inches longer than average doesn't carry the same stigma as it does in the north of England

Christopher said he had heard he / wife were homesick.

Mom didn't work out, but he was a last-minute replacement for Nene, who would still be with us if he hadn't messed the club around. Hard to blame Rohan for that, there weren't exactly a lot of decent NRL centres around and available at that time of the year.
