Quick update with genuine passed info. Been told to watch this space a very big, unexpected name is coming! Nene is gone and Lee has been offered a good deal, KR have been approached about Abdull with a large fee, no bullshit from me, just what I’m told. Another British forward incoming asap aswell. Hope this calms people, Frawley still scares the hell out of me!

Think we could do with an update on this. No sign of any movement so far?

He is a Leeds lad so really money being equal you’d like to think we’d have the advantage still.

From the bits I’ve seen he looks a good fit; big, aggressive, enjoys the tough stuff.

Usual crap from “the man with inside info”

I just can't see anyone wanting to come to an imploding club in crisis with players leaving kr not returning when you can go to a top 3 team doing well.

It might end up being we have to spend a few seasons just getting back to even keel before we look a safe bet to the better players

The truth is that not everything is perfect when we’re winning and not everything is catastrophic when we’re losing.

A big effort and some better judgment is required to turn this around in the off-season and we haven’t made the required signings yet. However things can turn around quickly.

I don’t really accept that we must resign ourselves to more years in the wilderness. We need to get rid of more dead wood and bad eggs and just sign better players and people basically - we’ll be a very different team next year so keep some faith.

We just need to write this season off and not take these last few games too seriously; we were never really a hope of winning anything.

For each good sign there are two worrying ones.

Could we turn it around with three excellent signings and one or two squad men? Absolutely.
But do we look like we will /can do it?.

Could a full preseason/ no injuries/ no international help players like Oledski / Newman/CJ/ O'connor etc. You'd hope so.

But will they kick on?. Will Newman leave in the middle of next season if its the same as now?.

There are a lot of unanswered questions.
I was firmly in the " we put all our eggs in a RS basket, he has to have the chance to get his own team" group.
However, the losses this year...not just back to back big nills or losing to bottom clubs but pathetic composure/ leadership in golden point matches.. the lack of big quality signings ( so far) , the resigning of fusi/ Bentley and Donaldson and signing Goudemand when we need a prop,7, some punch in the backrow and maybe a hooker.

Then the drama around Zak,Kruise,Austin,Walters and Nene and how little RS seemed to even know about it.

I'm now in the damned if we do,damned if we don't camp regarding RS as coach and worried we have again left it late fir signings despite knowing all year what we would need

Can't argue against that.

my big gripe is lessons not being learnt. was it 2 or 3 games in quick succession where our game management was awful with regards to dropping a goal?
thats a massive black mark against both coach and playmaker. and it's still awful now
