Yes I’ve noticed it’s not raining there now , it’s sleeting down here . Like you say heavy rain due in the early hours of the morning, don’t know what Workingtons pitch / drainage is like .

As soon as you leave hard ground onto grass in the Keswick area it’s very soft and wet but i’m sure Worky will do everything they can to get the game on and with the early pitch inspection at least we’ll know as soon as possible.

Close call I would imagine but having seen fax play worky at the most waterlogged pitch in the world some 5 years ago it will be game on unless they are swimming. It's not like fax pitch rules .

Hopefully the weather will win out as if not it will be a tough mud fest for our lads. Fingers crossed for a new date in a dry patch.

They must be daft , they harp on about player welfare yet they give the game the green light when the pitch ll be like a bog , there’s heavy rain n 60 mph winds forecast.

I can’t believe that the game is on.
It’s hardly stopped heavy raining all night with strong gusting winds and is absolutely bouncing it down and blowing a gale with less than 4 hours to go.

I’m about 30 to 40 minutes away and if it’s like this a kick off time seriously considering wether it’s wise to go.
