On the way back got talking to some Hunslet supporters who got on at Workington who rated Harry Kidd very highly and were surprised Fax hadnt recalled him.

Is he still our player ? Have to say GFB latest post is spot on -being saying most of it for weeks. The only disagreement I have is that our forwards need a severe cull.Tangata and the young guns Calcott/Morris apart-wouldn't be upset to see any of the others leave.

As far as I know Kidd is Hunslet's player but another with the likes of Brooks and Bennion who seem to be good at the lower level but not able to step up.
Agree with the forwards we have a lot who are very "vanilla" and wouldn't take much replacing. Nothing wrong with those sort of players though its just you need one or two who are above that level.

It's a strange one isn't it? At the start of the season most Fax supporters would have taken a third place finish. Now it seems possible we appear determined to throw it away. We are three games away from a million pound game and the level of gloom and lack of expectation among most fans is alarming. We should be going into the Batley game beating our chests and building it up as the most important fixture for years. Instead nowt, not a whimper. All very strange.

Losing to the likes of newcastle, whitehaven in recent weeks is the reason behind this. Releasing players and not getting loans in to replace loan players who left when every other team seems to get loans in each week from sl. Lack of ambition

Firstly i hope the person who needed medical treatment is ok that is never nice to see. As for the game Whitehaven were everything i hoped fax would be well organized and looked dangerous when moving the ball. Coming on to the ball at pace accurate crisp passing and running good lines. There halfbacks ran the show there forwards ran hard making plenty of meters after contact and to be honest everything they did with and without the ball they looked like a team. Where we looked like a bunch of individuals completely lost at times hoping for the season to come to a end anybody could have been mistaken for thinking they were in third spot. There number 13 was superb i would love to see a loose forward play like that for us. As for the rest of this season barring the top 2 and whitehaven the rest seem to be falling apart together. I just hope we can find a way to win next week get third spot but we need to find a injection of intensity from some were or our playoffs will be over before they have even got going. And the coach could start picking players in there best position that would help and cut the favoritism to his brother because he needs dropping.

Who can say if there is lack of ambition when no one knows what's going on!!! There could well be, but there's no doubt there is a lack of information and that's what is so frustrating. Communication is the bridge between any club and it's fan base and at the moment we ain't got one in place.

Well said. Heard that Harris has left already !?!? The club needs to step up. The weekly interviews with Grx are essential but there should be questions reserved for squad health/ injuries etc with him.
