Joe Keyes is a class player at this level and would be a quality signing. I just hope Fax have it and other publicised incomings in the bag as done deals and we don’t get gazumped by other rival clubs.

Spoken to a pal who's a Bulls fan - he's absolutely gutted with this if true- says he's a good organiser with an eye for a gap and the pace to go through it. While his season has been disrupted by injury whilst delighted with Keyes would be sorry if for the second time we release Robinson- not sure Grix likes him listening to comments he has made but I think he's an excellent half at this level.

Rumours seem to suggest it will be Harris moving on with him going back to York. Keyes is a quality signing and one we have been chasing for a while now and it does make it a little sweeter that Bradford thought they had him in the bag. I doubt it will be the last player that we beat Bradford to the punch to.

I too would be happy with this signing i think we could do with 2 new halfbacks for next season and this signing would be a good start. I have also heard that harris could be leaving and who knows if grix will go around again if he was to call it a day he would need replacing too.

I agree about robinson i would like us to keep him for next season and he is contracted for next season so there is a chance he could stay. But if grix wants him out we may not get our wish.

Joe Keyes is best mates with Alex Walker who’s out on loan at Fev from Wakey.
If Joe comes onboard maybe he can persuade him to join us if he doesn’t figure in Wakefield’s plans as they both would love to play in the same team again.

Bradford fans seem to be surprised they are getting outbid for players by the likes of York and Fax. Who is guessing out of those 3 teams who is in the worst position financially........

I personally believe our buying power is roughly the same as you and York irrespective of debt identified in annual accounts, but we are just guessing about the money side of things to a degree. In fact you might be doing your club a disservice if you think Keyes would be joining you because you waved the biggest cheque. If you get him it's because you've got a competitive bid and a club he fancies being at which would be credit to Fax. He's a very good player at this level.

One one hand I would have liked to see him back at Bradford, on the other I don't know how we could run with Keyes, Lilley and Brough. It wouldn't seem to be a sensible recruitment, but that's not to say we didn't try to get him. As I say he's a good player and would be a huge asset to fax. Good luck.
