Good afternoon Pete, hope you are well, I won’t be coming to the game on Sunday, I’ve just had 2 teeth and I’m feeling a bit off , I was unwell during the Dews v Leigh game on Sunday, as well, nothing serious I hope to be back for our game at Fev the week after.
Anyway ,I hope Fax do us a favour and beat Fev , I won’t tip anyone, but the way Fax are playing I have to fancy Fev. :thumb:

O.K. mate, hope you're feeling better soon. Ringmaster 3.9% Magic Rock Tap, shuddersfield, Mmm! Up The Fax!

A wise decision as watching Fax is very similar to having teeth pulled at the moment.

Seen a lot of people on Facebook mentioning JWH and why he is not included. It might have something to do with letting the reserves down on the morning of last weeks game. That probably didn't go down too well.

That 'ground' at Sheffield should not be allowed in RL. It's a sad indictment of how our game has gone that we play there.

Too right.

What's irritating is we had funding to build a stand and the Council said, "no, no, we'll let these fine Sheffield United folk build it."

Still waiting for the first brick to be laid ...... :FRUSRATED:

Obviously, you know all about Councils in Halifax. How long did it take to build the East Stand ? 20 years or so, was it ? Might have been less but it seemed like 20 years. :DEPRESSED:

Our local council's attitude to sport in general is appalling. Calderfail Council would rather spend money on gay pride flags or repeated regeneration schemes in 'culturally diverse' areas than than on the youth of Halifax. Sport and fitness is way down the list. I see Workingtons joint new stadium has just been vetoed by their council with a recommendation to downgrade it from 8,000 to 6,000 capacity! Blimey!

Hard to justify spending money on the Shay when it is used so little. The community stadium that has a pitch that is not fit for purpose so hardly any teams are allowed to play on it. As a tax payer Id rather money not go towards it until it genuinely is a community stadium.
