Three Good Years is the title of my latest and sixth novel in my series about northern life. This coming Saturday (18th May) from 10. 30 onwards I will be in WH Smith signing copies and hoping maybe to meet again some of my old mates from Crosrol where I worked for seven good years or who I used to stand with at Thrum Hall when I used to live at Bailiff Bridge.
The novel is set between 2006 and 2008 and has a background of work, family life, saving the NHS and Rugby League and has as its opening chapter "The Jehovah's Widnes".
Visit //www.geofflee.net for details of my novels 'One Winter', 'One Spring', 'One Summer' 'One Autumn' and 'Two Seasons'. All five feature Rugby League against a humourous Lancashire/Yorkshire background and are inspired by the old saying about work: "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller."

I had fifty-five good years in Gods's Own county, but now residing even further north. I can't remember properly, but not sure that 2006-2008 were that great. Just joking! Hope it goes well, but I'm 200 miles away now.

I wonder if you were once an electrician Sparky because I and Alan Greenall, the main character in my six novels, were both electrical draughtsmen.
Anyway you don't need to come to Halifax to get hold of a copy. Just go to the web site of the publisher London League Publications at http://www.llpshop.co.uk and click on books and then fiction.
