It's not the fans voicing their concerns.... Also a near £450k budget is by far the biggest budget RM has had since he started... You seen the club move forward on the field in his 5 years here cos I ain't....Today proved that

Today was awful and full credit to Batley for making it hard for us.

However, I fail to see how RM is responsible for the inability of some of our players to do the basics properly such as playing the ball correctly, hanging on to the ball, and not giving away the dumbest of penalties.

Or are you really saying that all of these things are coached instructions?

In amongst some poor performers today, credit to Will Sharp who was single handedly awsome

Defended well in the first 40 and took our chances well.
Second 40, well we hardly had a look in.
The first 6 minutes of the second half the inside left defense let 2 identical tries in giving Batley a sniff of victory, that followed by a glut of penalties and they almost got it.
As TH says Sharp especially took the dangerous high kicks well on our line and along with the other backs ran the ball out well, other than that just relieved to get the 2 points.

50% completion rates and a terrible penalty count - lucky to have won.

Nice to see 3 good tries and Sharp on fine form - (I thought Manning had a stormer as well).

First 15 I thought It was going to be a long day for Batley then they managed to slow us down.

Second half was the worst I have seen for a while the game reminded me of the Dewsbury match we drew last season luckily we had that peanalty or it could have cost us

I would think that with our budget, which is a fair bit higher than Batley's I presume, our fans expect a lot higher standard than we saw yesterday. We don't have a divine right to beat Batley but we should at least be able to see some improvement given the players we have brought in. As for RM this could be a make or break season for him. It could go one of three ways. He could become a Fax great by leading us into Super League. He could have a good season again with Fax and get himself a move to a SL club. He could have a poor season with more displays like yesterday and at Widnes and find himself out of a job. With the players we have I see no reason why we can't have a really good season, achieve the top five and then see where the play offs take us. Up The Fax!

Still early days, Charlie. Let's not overlook that Bradford were winning up to James Green getting sent off.

The ludicrous division of central funding from the past few years has disappeared too. That should improve the competitiveness of the Championship.

If you honestly believe that Harrison's team would have competed in this division as competitive as it is has been then you are completely and utterly deluded.
