Leigh came out on fire those first 20 minutes and looked really good in attack. We stuck at it though and as the game progressed we got the upper hand and scored some really flowing tries. At 12 points up going in to the final 10 minutes always good play to get the extra 1 point and well done Ben White.
Shaun Robinson and Steve Tyrer combination was ing well and Steve picked up the sponsors MOM and also the Shay Lounge vote as well and picks up the first 3 points of the season. 2nd and 2 points went to a strong forward display by Dan Fleming with the final 1 point to QLT. Come and cast your vote in the Shay Lounge after every game. We were very busy with renewals for Club 1873. Number now reached 102. The same prizes as last year with 9 draws of £25 and £20 vouchers with the final draw a 2020 season ticket. Still time to renew or make a member as the first draw is not until the Dewsbury game on Sunday 10th March. Just £10 payable before the final draw. After the Batley home game next Sunday we travel to Featherstone on Sunday 24th February. Twin Valley have now acquired a 49 seater with more leg room and a toilet to make a more travel experience.
