I might have just read an answer to my question, reading R M's thoughts after the game, J WH to half back which is something that has been touted on here for a while, whether that made the difference, but I looked at the live scoring after 20 mins and did not want to look any more as fearing another absolute thrashing, but the guys seemed to turn it round after the rejig at half time.
My Humble Opinion Only - let the knockers begin.

Yes a good player who offers a genuine threat and puts a shift in to help bring the ball out.

Strange signing really as in Salty and Sharp we have two players who make a lot of yards and are usually solid defensively. In an ideal world I would think our shopping list would look like this:- FB, 2 Centres, half back, hooker and prop. Obviously we won't have money to bring in 6 players better than we have already so I think we need to spend money on quality at FB, Centre and a half back. I think our pack is solid so you have to look at our shortage of points so something needs to be changed up.

It will be interesting to hear what RM says about Robinson’s addition if / when it is confirmed, one thing he does have over our current wingers is an extra yard of pace.
Agree about Salty and Sharp and it may be that Will goes back to fullback as I don’t see us holding on to Moss and the wage bill.
Another permutation could be JWH to 1 giving cover and or tactical options at 6 even in the same game to ask a different question.
The one thing I mention a lot about whoever plays at fullback is coming into the line in attack, it creates that extra player who if he doesn’t score himself often finds the telling pass to a teammate.
I wonder how many assists Quinlan had yesterday as an example, QLT did it but he’s a one off, Will and Salty not often enough to be a constant threat.

Anyway so much for this weeks addition of the armchair coach.

Will's good enough at fullback, far bigger priorities in other areas.

im assuming people have forgotten the huge change and improvement that was made when Will was replaced at fullback.

I love Will, Possibly my favorite player in the team currently but he doesn't offer the extra pivot that we need at fullback so he is not the answer. 1st name on the team sheet for me, but not in that position.

Just read QLT is not being offered a contract by Cas for next season and is free to look for another club. However, he says he wants to join another SL club not play in Championship.Pity-now that would have been a proper full back solution.

Any chance of having Qlt back then go for him big time . He gave everyone else so much room because he is very hard to predict.

We are but we will be his 2nd choice if he can't get a SL gig.

Agree with everything said about Sharp, brilliant at what he does but QLT made a massive difference to our attack. To be honest I dont think Moss is a patch on either of them. Everyone can see where the problems are likely to be but Marshall may be too stubborn to do anything about it.
