Troubled Doncaster entered administration in June and Dewsbury chief Mark Sawyer said: "If it had not have been for that extra money, there wouldn't have been a competition outside of Super League this year.
"From talking to other chairmen, I think at least 15 of the 21 clubs would not have been able to carry on playing.
"I feel it's inevitable some others will go into administration and there will be more casualties.
"There's a big chance some clubs will go out of business all together."

Sad thing is I think he is right, I still wonder how on earth clubs like Hunslet, London Skolars, Blackpool and Swinton survive on crowds of 5 or 6 hundred, its not sustainable and with no rich Directors they will have no chance of carrying on.
Yet we still push expansion into areas that don't give a t8ss about RL and never will. Wake up RFL, before its too late.

Really hope they get it sorted, Keighley are a household name and a club I always like to see do well. Something drastic needs to happen otherwise I fear we'll see a domino effect with clubs like Workington, Rochdale and Hunslet following. Come on RFL . . . sod the new team in RL, forcus on the clubs that could be on their way out, not their way in!
