ONE of the endearing features about life in the Unibond - and there are not many, although there are have been more this season than last - is that you can get into an away ground and enjoy a pie and a cup of tea without breaking the bank.
You couldn't at Leigh, however, where tea - and I use the word advisedly - was an incredible £1.70.
And don't talk to me about the pies - they smelled great but were way out of my price range.
The Sports Village has a fantastic range of facilities as well as the Genesis/Centurions' ground and the whole area has benefited.
But why would a club that attracts crowds of below 200 on a regular basis employ someone to sell tickets and someone else to collect them as supporters go through the turnstiles?
