Trying to split Labour and make Corbyn be unequivocal.

There doesn't seem to be a rush of dyed in the wool Tories coming to her defence anymore.
It's just a matter of timing now but, none of this is doing us any good, either domestically, within the EU or, on the wider international arena.
Despite the desperate rhetoric of certain politicians, Britain and in particular Mrs May, is becoming more isolated and insular than it has been in the last 100 years.

A crude and amateur attempt to share the blame when the disaster that is Brexit unfolds further - if indeed it does.

Most in Europe know they need to do a deal that doesn't disadvantage the UK to a point where they kill their own biggest export market.

The EU leaders don't take May seriously because they know by the autumn they will be negotiating with somebody else.

The other biggest issue for EU is money - who picks up the contributions we were making which is why they need a big pay off from us - something they are unlikely to get - so in that respect we have some negotiating strength if we can use it properly.

No deal is as bad for the EU as it is for the UK

Whatever deal we get will be worse than what we currently enjoy. That's for certain.

She tried to kill off all traces of opposition by calling a snap election. She is now desperately trying to spread the blame. Zero integrity.

May is certainly high up on the list of useless prime ministers. Fortunately for her and the tories the opposition, jezza and his Marxist pals are equally inept. What we have done to deserve this bunch of labour and Tory shallow incompetents god only knows. Whilst both parties are mud slinging at each other the economy is slowly but surely deteriorating. Still both parties are providing much amusement at the moment. Labour claiming they are for leaving the EU ,whilst most labour members want to remain. Meanwhile the shallow buffoons on the Tory cabinet are more interested in taking the prime ministers job than running the economy. Still call me Dave and boy George are fine and dandy, having left government they are earning a small fortune on various business ventures. If it wasn't so tragic it would be laughable.

Indeed.
With all parties (apart from the Libdems) split over Brexit, it would have been sensible to have some kind of cross party committee to agree the best way forward and try and work out what would be best for the country but, May and the Tories wanted to show just how good they were.
They should be left to self destruct.
The Uk will eventually find a new level.
It may be better than we had pre Brexit or, more likely, it may be worse but, it's what the majority of voters wanted.
The rest of us just remain grateful and bow to their superior knowledge and hope that we are led to the promised land where we can make our own laws and look after our own people and screw the rest.
On the flip side.
There is little doubt that we have given the EU27 a huge problem with funding and the Germans and French must be really happy with us.
Macron is already trying to encourage some big businesses to move across the Channel and it will be really interesting to see how many are enticed over to the EU Mainland.

It was what the majority of voters wanted then; since reality has started to bite, the latest polls show 60/40 to remain.

The only sensible thing to do now is stop all the chest beating and talking up of casual asides by the maniac Trump, and agree to a 2nd referendum when the terms of the deal have been clarified.
