Grow up - we had a vote - the majority of those who voted voted to leave - not everyone who voted had two heads and six fingers. Plenty of highly intelligent inquisitive individuals voted to leave on the balance of the evidence. Before you start plenty of lies were told on both sides. The EU had 40 years to prove why we should stay and it couldn't present a compelling argument.

Now we are two weeks in and things could go horribly wrong and all the remainers be proved correct but as yet I haven't had a problem getting fresh food and I haven't seen a any price increases. How long did it take to clear up Dover once the testing was in place - a day/two and have we had any repeats since?

The 40 years of peace and prosperity were plenty evidence for me. Not quite sure what else you were looking for?! The state of Britain before we joined compared to now was a perfectly simple indication of how we have prospered.

"Plenty of lies were told on both side". Sigh. Every single primary claim of the Leave side has been proven wrong. Every single one. The Remain side? Not so much.

As for Dover, do you have any idea of the degree to which trade through the port has collapsed since the 1st January?? If nobody is coming you won't have any queues.
I assume it will pick up again - we can but hope - and then we'll see how it copes.

Just for balance I have found one positive

Due to changes in co-operation around legal matters Brits caught speeding on the continent by speed cameras will no longer have to pay their fines as they will not be collected when back in the Uk .

Although it also means that foreign drivers caught in the UK will be in the same situation .

Bloody Foreigners getting away with Driving fines whilst they're lucky to be over here! Damn disgrace
What they doing over here anyway???? They drive on wrong side of the road anyway

We only speed over there (We go for holidays and spend time in their beautiful countries, it's just the bloody people we don't like, not speaking English proper) and the only time we speed it's their fault for having bloody kilometres!!!! That's why we shouldn't pay

They do it when they come over here (When they get off their Dinghies) and speed deliberately because they won't learn MPH !!!!

Will be interesting to see how that works out in the real world. The list prices have largely been ignored on most new cars for years. Its frightening how much discount is given off the list price by the franchise dealers without even having to haggle.
My personal favourite was a brand new Mercedes S500L - List price £81k,selling for £53k.

However if the price hike results in less boy racers zooming up my street in their STs,then i think this could actually be a Brexit positive!
