The 4 highlighted were all in the England Squad for last Fridays game against the Aussies. Will they have traveled as well?

To reconcile respect with practicality, what is the optimum speed for a hearse?

looks like they will be playing some quite full on games against each other. Let's hope they stay clear of injuries

Firstly they could have done this here in the UK at much less expense, gone off somewhere remote (15mins by car isn't remote which seemed to be the intention) and spent a couple of days being put through their paces with the army/marines/paras and found out about REAL mental toughness.

Watching a video means jack shat if you don't actually prepare the players properly week in week out & on match days and use a sports psychologist. They need to find out about themselves as individuals first & formost & understand what it is that pushes them into the dark corners & also what buttons pushes them to not give up, to keep going again & again. Use all the methods that proper pro sports do.

I'm sorry but Radford showing them a video & not saying anything or not knowing what to say doesn't resolve anything, it doesn't get to the root causes as to why people do X in any given situation, rugby players are no different to other people, they just happen to be good at rugby, they have the same weaknesses mentally as ordinary folk do, you see it week in week out in SL. As said, Radford let the pictures do the talking, why didn't he say anything or explain what happened & why, why was that, it just isn't useful even more so to the younger lads.

Warm weather training is all well and good to get a bit more daylight hours in but given our season starts in winter where is the true benefit?

Worst bit is why can't professional sportsmen keep out of bars/not drink alcohol whilst on a focussed training camp, that was obviously a concern given it was mentioned(subtly). Do they not trust the players around bars then to obey orders, I find that rather worrying tbh.
I so want us to improve and be the best but this yet again stinks of amateur night and not actually really understanding how to achieve the goal, or indeed understanding the goal itself fully.
I hope we don't fold like a pack of cards when under the cosh like we seem to do so often but christ can we just not hire professionals to do the non rugby aspect?

I don't believe you, because if that happened you'd have nothing to say.

If the sqaud had gone to an army training camp in the UK rather than somewhre warm you'd be the first one on here moaning about Radford's training methods. Change the loving record.

What are you even banging on about? Was u in the video room?
We did an army camp earlier this yr. Think we've another yet.
You cannot what so ever replicate what u do on a camp like this at home. If u could do you think Pearson would sign off on paying for 42 people to go abroad for a week or the chairmen of the other 80% of teams who are going away?
They're currently doing 13/14 hour days at an all under 1 roof complex. No outside distractions. With commutes to n from training, meal cooking, every day life distractions you'd never be able to replicate that at home or get the requisite nutrition and recovery in. The bonding aspect as well isn't something your able to do at home. Someone like Michaels for instance. A team mate could take months of chatting over breakfast n bus journeys to really get to know him. 24/7 for the week means hopefully by the end he won't just be a team mate/workmate but a real life friend. Makes a difference when on the field.
When running drills at home it's short n sharp because u can't keep stopping to talk about what you've just done as warm muscles get cold quickly n injuries happen.
Ask any player about the value of a good camp. Plenty don't like them but appreciate what u can get done work wise.

Well I'm amazed that Adam didn't give you a call and ask for your help, as you seem to have all the answers. Constant repetition of your obvious hatred of everything connected with Radford does you no credit and portrays you as some bitter little individual seeking some publicity. Perhaps you should follow some team closer to where you live and give us all a break.
