once a black and white always a black and white COYH

IMO think £18 is expensive . £10 would have been fair and most likely increased the gate by some way. Still will more likely go than not.

People keep asking for ten pound tickets. It's 2014. Not gonna happen. Leeds it's twenty vs wake for a seat. 15 to stand in the open. 16 vs rovers as a pass holder. Bit much yeah but not so bad. Championship sides with ramshackle or tiny grounds charge 12 n 14 quid a time.

What? Like a Willie Mason trail cutout?

There is kidology, tomfoolery and mind games but if Adam Pearson, who confidently predicted a 2015 top four finish with a awesome half back combination and a with a star studded academy back up that he confidently predicts to walk the league, cannot comfortably put a big score on a team who will have still to gel and without a warm weather camp, which puts Hull fc a long way ahead in preparation stakes

The academy, tbf, is very good. We've documented the evidence of that well over recent weeks. Tricky for you to accept clearly, with no homegrown players in your 1-17 and no England representation. What this has to do with the derby though, I'm unsure. The warm weather camp is a red herring. Sandercock said it puts a team 6 weeks ahead but that was clearly untrue. Campese is training until he vomits, has absorbed your playbook already and Kelly is here and ready to act as leader. It's mental how dominant your halves will be. Best in the comp according to Pupkin.

I suggest it will not bode well for the early season 'walk ups' that the club need to keep all stands up and running.

OK then. "Up and running"...sounds familiar.

If you expect HKR's halfbacks who will have had a months preseason between them ripping a new one then I respectfully suggest you need a reality check. Hull fc by a cricket score in my opinion and lets face it the bookies put them as firm favourites to finish above their neighbours and in their quest for silverware.
I'm basing my opinion on several data points though Cocker. Gareth Westmorland's insight on Rovers utter genius in recruitment. KnockersbumpmkII's appraisal of Radford's management. And your constant references to our 11th placed finish last year with little change. I embrace it. See you on derby day. Can't be any worse than the last one was for you at least.

I meant as the joker in the pack but did find your response slightly amusing......and I do mean slightly :)

I would imagine most RFL fans are aware of the superb quality within your academy ranks because your owner has publicly stated on more than one occasion he expects nothing less than them to be comprehensive table toppers in 2015. Along with his media intentions of Hull FC being a force in S.L.'s top four I would expect teams to be beaten long before they run out to the intimidating atmosphere at the KC and beyond.

OK then. "Up and running"...sounds familiar.

Your data points are interesting. You do realise Gareth Westmoreland is HKR's answer to Smaile's awe inspiring media insights into the world force FC plan to become. I assume knockersbumpmkII is the font of all wisdom hence your reference and would be grateful if you could point out my constant references to FC's 11th place finish in 2014. (for sake of argument can we agree the dictionary meaning of constant = occurring continuously over a period of time). I must disagree with your final comment however, I can see HKR's new but untried team being brushed aside with consummate ease by the powerful new force in S.L which A.P. plans to become.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

Please don't compare Westmorland and Smailes. Westmorland is like the Paul Whitehouse simple teenage character on The Fast Show.

"What about Rovers, eh? Brilliant! That Kelly will rip up Superleague. And Blair. And Allgood. All. Absolutely. Brilliant. I know some clubs use ice baths and that for rehab but that's for proper soft lads. I love Halifax. A link up will be brilliant! And that Ryan Bailey. Rock hard leader him, brilliant! And Kelly, he's a genius leader, him, brilliant! And Rovers, right, they've got that many talkers they don't really need one leader cos they're all brilliant leaders! Brilliant!"

One in every 12 of your posts has covered FC being 11th in 2014. Most of the rest bagging Pearson (multiple times) Pryce, Westerman, Radford. Other themes include 150 shirts being given away (familiar refrain) and backing the Shaun Lunt to Rovers story. Now we all know that was never true because Mike Smith says this week you got every single player you were in for. DEC13VE

Back to the derby. Hope it's a good game to try out combinations. Never pointless for either side, are they? Well, only once in my lifetime. :thumb:

Is there any particular reason we couldn't have this game on a Boxing day in the future? Leeds & Wakey play that day, personally I'd rather watch a game on Boxing day than first week of Jan, and for some gets you out of going to the in-laws :D
I'm always up over Christmas period as likely would be many non Hull based fans visiting their families & watching a game with family when visiting would be nice after a 3 month drought, or is there prohibitive extra costs to ovpen it on a Bank Holiday?
