Kevin Locke & Michael Dobson .
Locke turned up in July unfit and with one good leg and was still the best player we had.
Be nice to see what he could do fully fit with a full pre-season behind him.

Be nice to see what Dobson can do in a good side ....

Without going through the far end of a fart working out averages I would be highly surprised if this was the case. The intention with our recruitment has been to reduce the average age of the squad, to the extent that our oldest player next year will be Cockayne at 31 - and he isn't necessarily going to play.

Plus Methuselah Morley and Old father time Puletua must skew your averages upwards slightly

Whoops almost forgot - Players I am most excited about seeing would be Carney and Kelly. Someone mentioned Locke and seeing him up to full fitness and ready to go, which will make him another I will look forward to watching.

Surprisingly the Two Hull Teams between them have imported 9 New to SL overseas players between them. Hull KR 6 & Hull FC 3

the other 10 SL teams account for only 6...
Cas - Junior Moors & Ben Roberts
Wire - Ashton Sims
Leeds - Adam Cuthbertson
Catalan - Todd Carney- Willie Tonga.
the other teams have only signed non Fed players already in/ known to the Comp

More overseas Players retired or went back to NRL than were brought in by the above :- Willie Manu , Michael Monaghan, Francis Meli, Brent Webb, Justin Poore Retired, Sam Williams , Antonio Kaufusi, Kris Keating, Shannan Mcpherson , Steve Rapira,Jason Chan, Neville Costigan, Sia Soliola, Blake Green went home.



With Apparently Leeds Wigan Warrington Saints looking to their Academies
Outside of Wigan , Hull has the biggest catchment area for Club trained players, is this influx of signings a testament to the paucity of talent in the area or a failure to capitalise on it ? honest question not a dig ..
