Hopefully won't be the uncompetitive non-event that Bailey's testimonial game was, given it's the only first team pre-season friendly.

Not inclined in the slightest to be donating to another tax free collection for a Tory voter who believes in the idea of Big Society, huge tax cuts for the rich, savage cuts in essential public services hitting the vulnerable, to be replaced by food banks run by a volunteer or two here and there.

Big Society initiatives aimed at increasing the bank balances of those already comfortably well off doesn't really work for me either.

I'm prepared to offer a tin of unbranded baked beans and a packet of custard creams to the testimonial cause instead if that's deemed acceptable?

Not sure why Peacock needs another testimonial game? what we need is another beach party - where is Matt Adamson when you need him!!

I agree politically so I will wait for Juan Cornetto to come in to this one.He has been granted a testimonial though and is donating a percentage to a Hospice and it maybe more than just a percentile .We've all been touched by that desease too.
