Agree again with the idea we might start to offload a lot more in 2015.
Tautai is known for his offload and Lockers certainly has the skills. We now also have real pace up the middle. Clubb and Parick must be some of the fastest props in SL. Williams in at 6 again gives real pace up the middle. When Hampshire plays, that again will give even more pace and if from the offload it could be devastating.
The team scored most tries in SL last season with most comimg from the outside backs.
This coming season could see attacks both from the middle as well as from out wide.
Really looking forward to 2015 season.

If Wigan show as much confidence as this thread is creating Wigan will be able to call themselves the Galicticos of Rugby League. :DRUMMER: :BOOHOO:

Get the Galicticos flags into production

I agree. I think Madge virtually banned it. Waney seemed to carry that on. We haven't had a forward who regularly offloads since Hock.

A little more freedom to offload might give opposition teams a bit more to think about next season, and it IS more exciting to watch.

Indeed. Lockers showed in the 4 nations how effective he can be with the offload when given the freedom to. I think you're right that Madge favoured the percentage plays and Waney carried this on but I feel it's time to give a little more freedom this time around. As well as the ones already mentioned, Bateman has great hands and would be ideally suited to this role. It's a good few seasons since we had a pack with potential offloads from so many sources. It's definitely the right time to bring this more into our game.

Bowen would benefit hugely from an increased offload game. He's excellent in broken field and to give him some more opportunities would be a good move.

In saying that though I still think in the main we need to keep to that structured gameplan. There's a reason we score the most points in the league and our wingers are always up near the top of the try scoring charts. We also don't need to fix what isn't broken but I'm all for a little tweak. We can't forget that bar an individual moment of madness we'd be sat here as champions again IMO (and lots of other people's).

Teams are being told to offload less these days. They want the quick play the ball all the time and control the PTB

All about changing tactics to do with the dummy runner and the obstruction rule.

I'm hoping it's in 2 areas that tactics are being addressed.

1.
The over physical attributes in the Wigan game highlighted in the comments mindset of SW in a tv special.

2.
The slowing down at the play of the ball to levels of 4-5 seconds before release of the opposition. Exploited to a great effect on each occasion Phil Bentham officiates.

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.
