Got to be better than when we did a bar scarf with grey in it a few years ago, what on Earth was that all about?!

Looking at the pics from the SL launch day with Locke being our rep. It seems we are getting red shorts and black socks with two red bands. It actually looks pretty good in comparison to some of the other kits. I'm not totally convinced just yet, but it's growing on me. If anyone wants to see the picture you'll need to go onto Lockes twitter.

I think it looks great all together, the launch did the shirt no favours at all, I love the Red and black too I wouldn't go back to red and white.

Just getting back to promotion on the radio etc. Following yesterdays Super League launch at the Trafford Centre, There appears no publicity for, before or since. Online there is no mention on the Rugby League pages of Sporting Life, Sky Sports and BBC. Nothing in the metro. I don;t know about the daily papers. It is in the MEN. Is Salfords open day on the Salford site yet ?

Is Salfords open day on the Salford site yet ? Apparently the worlds greatest journalist missed it. Would have been nice if BBC Manc would have been there to broadcast a little of it live as they did when Locke first came over.

When the Tour de France was passing through London they painted two DLR trains for Chris Froome and Mark Cavendish. In a similar manner, it might be a good idea for the club to enquire about paying for a couple of Metrolink trams to be painted as Salford Red Devils trams, in both the Home and Away colours. The trams could then be put on different routes each day which may get the message out to other parts of the Manchester/Salford area.
