Having said that we haven't gone full strength against Leigh in any of our regular friendlies against them so I wouldn't expect us to here (which I don't mind as it makes it a closer game and gives me a look at the fringe players)

I was thinking about Lockers' against Hudds, I certainly don't remember it being a full strength squad, we got thumped too (18-30). I've no problem giving the kids a run-out, it does them no harm & the more they get blooded perhaps the more single-minded they are to make sure it doesn't become a habit. Plus as I can't get to Orrell as often as I'd like it's a chance to see who's coming through.

Apologies I've just looked it up you're right we played the youngsters. Agree with regards to playing them. Particularly as league points are more important next year so we can't be quite as eager to throw them into league games, though I'd still expect Gillart and Lever to debut next season
