Wow, Hudgell is a genius. Wests would have to pay a fee, he gets Sandy off the payroll and Chris Chester embodies the "Promotion of young British talent" manifesto. Interview's this week apparently. Is Sandercock over there, then? Thought it odd that Chester was more central in the coaching staff photo while they cut off a bit of Sandercock's head. Easier for Mike Smith to Tippex out.
Neil Hudgell has much power and influence, but even I don't think he can quite manage to persuade Wests to take Sandercock!
He's still in Hull BTW, so that adds to the itsbolloxtheory that I'm pursuing.
Bless you. Ever heard of the new-fangled videoconferencing malarkey? FC used it to persuade the black and white chin. Mick Potter's interested too. Stellar list of candidates, then.

You asked if he was over there, I obliged darling. I use VC frequently when setting up import shipments of narcotics. It helps convince me that my pass is value for money.

You implied the fact he's here devalued the "interview this week" report though. Potter v Sandercock v Folkes. Hope the interview panel don't have charisma and jollity on their list of criteria. I would make them do a group exercise out of their comfort zone. An Australia's Got Talent routine with a performing dog, or a bear, yes, that's it, Barnabus. Against the clock excusage listing, or blatant fan sycophancy (it's supersede by the way, with s not c, Craig, in case you have to create a banner or some such).

you have to remember this was on a fans forum so is probably rubbish as is everything on fans forums
Hudgell certainly has long fingers.... He could also be reeling Justin Morgan back to continue his good work after the dismal year we've had! Chester isn't ready yet in my opinion. Still think its a mistake that Morgan was let go - he should've been given the chance to finish what he started. Had he been here this past season then we would've made the playoffs as that was standard. Interesting to see how the appointments play out. ....

Parting company with Morgan was entirely necessary. We would still be feeding the likes of Vella, Newton, Galea for as long as they wanted if he'd stayed. The kids wouldn't have ever got a look in.
Just because Sandercock isn't hitting the heights doesn't make it any less correct.

We were a pub team I coached for a long time and we won 95% of games because winning is a mental state driven by a desire to CRUSH an opposition. Did FC look as though they wanted to Crush Wigan and strangle them until they screamed ? NO RL is a tough tough game and Maylord She-dong you have no clue In fact don't ever ever reply to any of my posts again

bit harsh that, it was morgan that blooded the likes of taylor, cox, sheriffe, welham.
agree about the vella, galea and newton comment, however, i would have kept newts.

Depends. Worst finish since promotion season? Measure of a coach is what he gets out of resources available, so 10th place from a full cap squad might be seen as a step back. Morgan was criticised on youth policy, but what about Watts, Taylor, Welham? Working within the same future financial constraints, who's to say he'd not bring young players through?
