I guess sales will be down on last season, hopefully not by too much.

I expect the discount period will be extended again as usual.

We should however bear in mind that all but a handful of chairmen would kill to sell the number of passes we do.

I'd be amazed if season ticket sales are up come the start of the season, however I suspect that will be the case at most clubs.

No-one knows who is playing who or when from August onwards and supporters of probably half the sides in SL will be thinking that their club may end up in the middle eight and therefore playing a couple of games against the likes of Leigh and Featherstone.

And that's why for those that can't afford a full season pass or indeed just don't want/need a full pass have a chance to buy lower number/cost match day only type passes (with no associated benefits of a full season pass) with a small discount over full pay on the day prices. It means for those that can't afford a full pass are able to give an advance commitment of some sort and something is better than nothing surely? A 5 match pass @£100 for East/West unreserved for example.
Offering them from the start of the season onwards when literally everyone whom is going to buy a full season pass will have done so would make sense.
