Interesting table, sorted by Win/Loss ratio. I really enjoyed the Tony Barrow times and a decent record seeing as we were broke at the time.

What about Chris Brockbank? He was coach before the war but then again after the war until Mountford took over. We won the championship and the Challenge Cup as well as the Lancashire League several times under Brockbank. Most of Mountford's success was with the team built up by Brockbank.

Sorry I have no statistics for Chris. His first stint was 1936 and then he appears to be have been the predecessor to Cec in 1950.

Chris Brockbank was Warrington's longest-serving coach ever (1936-51). His post-war record (League matches only) was

Games: 180
Won: 139
Lost: 40
Drew: 1
Win % 77.2

This makes him our most successful coach from the post-war period - and almost certainly our most successful coach ever. Seems a pity to leave him out altogether

Apologies - I accidentally omitted the 1945-46 season which was Brockbank's worst.
Including that season the figures are:

Games: 216
Won: 160
Lost 51
Drew 4
Win % 74

Even including these figures he is still our most successful coach.

If TS can go with us throughout this season with only one loss.
Then he may just go top on % then.
He cannot afford a loss in the next 25 games to do it.
That will sit fine with me.

216 games in 15 years? I know that time includes the war but even so that figure seems low?
