I think its good that in a time we find ourselves in, when every penny is being watched, the club acknowledge this and congratulate the fans for turning up!

Keep performing on the pitch, they will keep coming to watch!

Don't you think the numbers across rugby league were excellent as a whole? This was a pretty bad weekend weatherwise - I reckon those figures are a very good sign for the game.

apart from the Salford attendance I thought they were very good. The bigger sides were at home though, might have been different if celtic, wakey, quins were at home but its a positive start to the season.

There have been no really large scores yet either, think Hudds beating Catalans is the biggest margin

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

When you look at the teams we have played for our opening fixture non of them except Leeds have a large away following, so you would expect that an opening agme against Wigan would be up there.

A good start though and hope it continues

We come from the land of the ice and snow,
From the midnight sun where the hot springs blow.
How soft your fields so green, can whisper tales of gore,
Of how we calmed the tides of war. We are your overlords.
