I bet I could get you more than £500 for the Coral Stand, and that's after taking my commision from the scrap merchants on dick lane.

Surely, they will need to offer creditors at least scrap value to stop HMRC saying well we'll take possesion of the building and they holding an auction on site to any dealers for fixtures and fittings...

Nope, the building is as I explained the property of the Council, not the Bulls. Like all the other buildings on the site. Fixtures and fittings yes, but in this economic climate, they're worth jack. After the costs of bailiffs, removals and auction they'd raise nothing significant.

I think we're unlucky to be the next relatively high profile sports club after rangers. After being so tough with them they don't want to be accused of inconsistency. Doesn't matter how much more blatant rangers were than us. They've sent out a message and will not want to be seen to be backing off from that

That is exactly my worry too :(

And the Coral Stand? It is leasehold improvements IIRC. Owned by the Bulls. But also, it is a modular unit that I understand can be deconstructed and relocated, albeit doubtless at significant cost. In reality, it is really just the mother of all Portacabins!

Wow! I wouldn't have done it if I thought you were that thin-skinned, all that was was a joke at you having no clue about the makeup/length of service of the board! Goodness me.

Why "conspirators" though? Caisley with other shareholders openly forced a takeover. Whether he had or has the aim of ultimately owning the club remains to emerge but I wouldn't see that as much different from any other consortium wanting to do so. It's business. Well, in most respects, except the "wanting to make money" part. Did Caisley have a plan or plans? Well obviously he did, he hardly took a blind punt one morning, what shall I do, oh I know, call an EGM. Is the plan still playing out? Who knows. No reason to think it isn't, but maybe he got it all spectacularly wrong and has given up. I personally doubt that very much, but that's just my opinion.

Would I expect a highly paid specialist that I instructed and was paying to try to do his best, within professional boundaries of course, for me? Too bloody true I would. That's normal. It doesn't involve conspiracies either.

I think we all are sure some group will. We may have ended up a basket case, but still have too many attractive elements to be left on the shelf. and amen to the final bit.

I think the 'conspiracy' stems from the inference that Caisley may have acted malevolently to scupper the previous boards investment and has orchestrated an unnecessary administration with an administrator with whom he is acting to prevent other legitmate bidders making a bid. This is both conspiratorial, and as an attempt to defraud the shareholders and creditors, illegal. I know he signed Iestyn which was an error by any standards, but a criminal?

Your 'wanting to make money' raises a fair point. He's put huge amounts of time and efort in for nothing, brought unprecendented success and I think he deserves to have his efforts considered as acting in the best interest of the club rather than as something selfish and grubby. I thought Peter Hood was useless and not always truthful, but I accept he was Bulls through and through.

Let's move on eh and fingers crossed tomorrow morning will bring what we're all hoping for?

Is there some relevence to tomorrow morning I've missed? earlier in week there was mention of 3 working days to find a solution but I assumed that was just papers counting 10 days from when admin was announced and not making distinction of 10 working days. Everything I've seen last couple of days has been talking about next tuesday as a possible decision day.

The phrase politically correct is in itself politcally incorrect so should be rephrased politically stupid!

tbf, I never had a lot of problems with what he wrote, not at all.

I think the club did though; when he reported some inconvenient truths?

Well broadly in agreement, but think the section:

"But fans’ outrage at the treatment of much-liked Potter and disgust at the prospect of Noble returning caused a change of heart in the former Odsal hero."

The second part is way off track and disrespectful to both the majority of fans and Brian

Yes, as far as I can see the outrage was directed at the way Potter and the staff had been treated, and only a minority of numpties directed this at Nobby.

No relevance to this morning. Just my usual nightly prayer.

Wouldn't you need to know what salary a person was on before deciding whether they should be reinstated?

As a rider, I've met Medders a few times, like him and think he does a good job. Met Debbie and Ryan and think they're nice and am genuinely sad they're in the boat they're in. Whilst sacking everyone is clearly destructive doesn't the 100k a month figure demand some significant changes?
