He's an interesting character that journalist seems to get it wrong three or four times compared with when he gets it right! Its just rubbish as I said back on page two!!

You hear a rumour Salford are in the market for a new player, but you've no idea who.
You look at their squad and decide which position(s) they look weakest in.
You think maybe second-row, maybe three-quarters.
You think 'who could possibly play both positions?'
You think 'which club might be looking to sell?'
You remember that Hull have hinted at money worries.
You look for second-rowers who could possibly play in the backs at Hull.
You see Joe Westerman's name.
And there's your headline.

That's all reasonable enough. Shoddy journalism though.

Hull don't have money worries in the sense that we are struggling and need some cash. People (mainly Pearson) are just frustrated that a lot of expensive mistakes have been made lately and that crowds are down. We are still one of the wealthiest clubs, he's just saying that we won't carry on that way if nobody turns up to watch.

That is the same as what Koukash has been saying, no matter what there fans think, but if the fans don't back him and they continue with the low support, he won't keep pumping money in, same with AP and all other SL chairmans.

Indeed.

If I won the euromillions tomorrow I would happily put a few million into the club and wouldn't be bothered about a return. But that's because I'm a lifelong fan. These guys might care about their club, even love the club, but first and foremost they are business men.

Still don't get where this idea that Westerman can play in the backs comes from?

Maybe stand off at a push, in the same way Sinfield or O'Loughlin can, but that would be it.
