So how many people around today remembers us playing in blue shorts and socks? Who even knew we had until the heritage kit? When are we supposed to have used these colours?

They were used in 1895. Even Frank might not remember that, but it doesn't make it any less valid.

So because someone washed a pair of blue duds in with the white shorts one week it is suddenly our heritage? Utter b0llocks! Cherry and white - that is all!

To be fair I'd go along with what Mike Latham says if he says we played in blue polka dots. If anyone is going to get something right about our heritage then he's the man.
Think they're both spot on, the away one especially is the smartest we've had in years.
Anyone questioning the colour of the shorts and socks wasn't paying much attention at the Heritage Day which has obviously inspired this one.
Already bought a couple of home shirts for my son and my nephew, but for the first time since probably 2007 I'll be wanting both shirts for me as well.
Kukri produced a black one in 2005 in SL, Ste. With the huge yellow and green House of Sharratt logo.
Matt My mistake, the shirt i was thinking about is predominately burgundy with black collar black sleeves & side with gold piping and W.K SHARRATT main shirt sponsor no green but i do remember the one you are on about (just found it in one of many space savers and it still has my L.I.S.A enamel MMVI badge on it)

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!
Both the home and away shirts look very good but something struck me as a little odd. The collars on the players shirts are completely different to those that appear to be on the 'replica' shirts.
Anyone know the reason? I am sure i will get asked that at some point.
Or could it just be my eyes have now totally packed in.
