Just a quick plug as its coming up to a New year and therefore a new season !
The HGSA are always looking for new members and people who love the club to join up and assist in bridging the gap between fans and club, if you think you could help or have any ideas to put forward then do not hesitate to join, still only £5 a year - an absolute bargain. The SA continue to present the club with numerous cheques throughout the season towards the youth development side of the club, we would like the amounts to be higher but to do this we need more funds and this means more members !!. As a new committee has been elected so fresh ideas have been given, hopefully to be implemented not only by the SA but by the club itself. The SA have lots of exciting events planned for the forthcoming year but need support to make them a success, so why not sign up for a Membership, or buy a Giants fan a Membership as a Xmas present ! Membership entitles you to attend our excellent monthly meeting with distinguised guest speakers, this year we have had the likes of Angela Powers, Tanya Arnold, Greg Austin, Peter Roe, John Huxley, Phil Caplan as well as guests from inside the club such as Richard Thewlis and David Faiumu - every one of them offers an interesting and more than often amusing insight into the world of rugby league past and present Would be great to see membership numbers and indeed face at the meeting rise this year. The next big event is the Reindeer race night 2014 to be held at the Turnbridge WMC on Friday 12th December at 7.30, more information is available here HGSA website - here Membership forms - here Any further info will be added to the Supporters Association thread near the top of the page, please keep checking for details of our events.
