Hughes has agreed with AK to cover the "marketing budget" that the RFL gave him to takes us in last year. This is OVER AND ABOVE the agreement regarding income from the gate etc.....this was renegotiated, which is what I said in the original "homeless" thread.

I didn't mention the marketing budget as I have no idea what has been agreed and for how much, I suspect neither do you or you would be ramming the figures down peoples throats. Especially as you are so willing to share every other figure you have in your possession.
The latest evidence points to Broncos doing their own marketing but I'm sure you will be willing to show evidence to the contrary if you have any.

So to repeat:
For this season the rent for use of the Hive is ticket revenue.
If it makes you happier to say there is a marketing budget (£????) and someone is spending it on marketing then fine I'll go along with that.

For this season the rent for use of the Hive is ticket revenue. GF told us this wouldn't be the case as TK wouldn't honor the second year of the deal and Broncos are taking ticketing in house. We now know this to be untrue and this is the second year of a two year deal.

If Broncos charged you a season ticket and spent the money on renting the Hive you would pay it but because Broncos came to the Hive with no admin staff to run ticketing and so the Hive struck a deal to run it for them you refuse to pay it. Instead you pay more for your ticket every time you go.
Under 14s have been £1 per month and £1 per game for a while so I don't accept they are dearer unless you decide to pay on the door or want a reserved seat.
Price per game is a tricky one to calculated for next year as we don't know how many home games there will be. If it's the same as last year Bronco tickets will be slightly dearer, one more game it's about the same and so on.

I think the only ones who have a serious gripe are those aged 60-64 as they are not treated as concession when I believe they previously were.

The issue here is youth were under 18 not under 14. Still make it expensive and people have the choice. Super league prices for Championship games. My pound will only go so far.

Lets do a comparison to a Championship team and see if you are right?
Leigh Centurions cheapest season ticket
North Stand - Adult £196
North Stand - Concession £140
North Stand - Under 16s £30.

London Broncos West stand Family
Adult £26*7 + 10 = £192
Concession £12*7 + 7.50 = £91.50
Under 14s £6 * 7 + 5 = £42

Leigh Dearest
West Stand- Adult £210
West Stand - Concession £160
West Stand - Under 16s £30.

Broncos west stand premium
Adult £29*7 + 10 = £213
Concession £15*7 + 7.50 = £112.50.
Under 14s £7.50 * 7 + 5 = £57.50

And Leigh have already announced that if they have more than 14 home games there will be an additional charge to season ticket holders. Of course there wll always be the contentious issue of the joining fee but members from last year wont be paying that this year.

The 2014 deal has been renegotiated for 2015. You can dress it any way you like, but the club informed the RFL back in July and were told that Blake Solly wouldn't be helping out this time 8) . The deal this year is AK is assured of 500k at the gate.....any shortfall being made up by Hughes. I wasn't going to bother posting it because apparently such facts and figures are killing this board, but you did demand that I do it. The 500k is ALL SEASON and includes the 11 we know about and any 888 games we host.
As you rightly point out, we have a marketing and media person this year....that's different from 2014....also proving my point about renegotiation. Thanks.

Marketing wasn't part of the original two year deal and has been separately negotiated independent of Broncos staying at the Hive over last season and this so your admiration that Broncos are doing the marketing is welcome and shows how false your claim of a marketing sweetener is. It was always the case that marketing would become Broncos responsibility once they got their act together.

Keep it coming GF so we can see how long your new web takes to unravel now you have moved the goalposts. A guaranteed income from Hughes to replace your previous claim of a marketing budget is a new one on me and something I will enjoy investigating. If true that is fantastic news for the development of the Hive and TK should be giving everyone free entry in the knowledge he gets the money anyway and so cut costs plus maximize off field revenue in the process.

Hey....investigate all you like. All we ever get is "I've spoken to AK and he says......"

I'll repeat it again for you, because you seem to have trouble actually asking the right question. Ask AK was there a renegotiation of the 2015 terms of rental/tenancy with the Broncos earlier this year.

As for the assurance from Hughes. If it is true (and I have no reason to doubt my source) then I suspect we will see plenty of tenner and fiver ticket offers. If we get 3 home games out of the 888 then we need to take 36k a game........and AK will have the added bonus of extra beer and food sales. It's a win win for everyone so long the Broncos play their part.

Oh...ask AK how the long term rental discussions are going. Seems to have gone a bit quiet on the up-front-rent scheme that was mentioned back in July.

If I bump into him in the bar I will be sure to ask but he's not around much at the moment. I know why this is the case and I'm sure the reason will become public knowledge soon enough.

If what you claim is true then I see no point in the Hive charging even £1 as it would be money lost from Hughes and the bar. Even charging £5/£10 would represent a reduction in profit plus making the current membership unsustainable. If they offer free entry then I'll believe your 'source'.

there is the point that no mention of 2015 ticketing has been mentioned by the club yet....
