A novel present for a rugby league fan this Xmas. : Fri Nov 21, 2014 12:17 pm
Something that is quite novel for a rugby league fan is a rugby league novel or more accurately a novel written against a strong rugby league background. If you are anywhere near Waterstones in Albion Street in Leeds next Friday lunch time (November 28th), why not call in. I will be there signing copies of my latest novel "Two Seasons". It has a background of work, family, old friends and rugby league during the 2002 and 2003 seasons. The chapter titles give some idea of the content. They include The good Yorkshireman, The sermon on Mount Pleasant, A day on the M62, Listening to Eddie and Stevo, A evening in Bailiff Bridge along with "The spoilt papers might win it", A Swedish affair, E-Mails from Amsterdam and The Welsh girl from Wrexham.
If you can't make it on the day or if you don't want to have to queue the book is also available on Amazon as a paper copy or Kindle.
