Beaver's next game will make him the oldest player in Super League history, surpassing Brad Davis when he came out of retirement to help out at Cas.

Good point. Liberal sprinkling of the word 'officially' and we should be OK. We'll not really know Stanley's age until he dies and we can count the number of rings in his leg

speaking to a fellow player the other day who actually rooms with Sir Steve and he reckons he really loves Perpignan and the lifestyle and would love to go on another season but only if he, himself feels he is good enough to continue playing at that level !
