Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

Re: New Zealand vs Australia: Wellington : Wed Nov 19, 2014 8:40 am
Look at the sin bin - it used be a vibrant board with a breadth of differing views. That was until the mods allowed fellow mods to dominate every thread. In the end everyone got so hacked off they went elsewhere to get serious debate. As a result the board might as well be closed it gets one new thread a week!!

Some on here are concerned that you will do the same to the virtual terrace. We all know RU is a bigger better connected/represented sport the site doesn't need it rammed down its throat at every opportunity. London has always been doomed to failure again we don't need you tell us it could have been the next Melbourne - more chance of RL overtaking RU in NZ.

With some new material maybe you can have a positive impact on the debate.

Given that Gutterfax simply has to have the last word could I suggest that everyone lets him, ignores his last post and gets back to, what I thought was actually quite an interesting thread!

You're right, he's clearly as thick as pig ****

Best tournament in either code for many a year anyway and I really can't wait for next year's series. Venues are to be announced before Xmas apparently so that's 3 things i'll be asking santa for.
Hopefully they'll play a few warm ups against SL teams like the old days too but maybe that's asking for too much.

Compared to you I am Einstein.

in your opinion, which is one of the rights of posting on here, that you can express your opinion. Mine is that it wasn't as good as 2013's RLWC and as for the other code, it would seem that more people at games, on TV and at companies wishing to sponsor partner that sport seem to think that RWC is a "better tournament".

I too am looking forward to the series and may be back for at least one test. No doubt if a player side-steps another player on the way to scoring a try it'll have you all reaching for the Kleenex again whilst comparing it to the competition that will have just ended with more fans, bigger audiences and better sponsors

First up, I don't expect I'll ever be invited to moderate on here, so my "dictating an agenda or dominating a thread" in such a manner is highly unlikely.
As for Union being bigger, I am well aware that some posters on here know this, but it is those who constantly need to try to belittle a game that is so far ahead it's not funny that get my attention. The pseudo frenchman dropped the "in either code" in a as big juicy worm and I bit. I can bite, because I have time to waste in spades.....I don't care if you "all know it", so long as idiots keep up the pointless comparisons, then I'll chip in with my twopenneth worth.

London wasn't always doomed to failure. The RFL failed London by pandering to the pit mentality that Lenegan owning 2 clubs would be bad for the game. With Lenegan in charge, London would not have failed....but instead, the RFL though that it was far more important for them, the governing body to trip over themselves assisting an Iconic club like Bradford rather than let an investor invest in the game. Duel ownership hasn't done any harm in the NRL.......even when the cowboys wobbled and News essentially owned 3 clubs, nobody cared.

As for adding to the debate. I was asked about the on-pitch events and responded......since then, it's just been more of you whining like bitches about big bad gutters.

When someone says "That was a great game!" do you think they mean it was great because lots of people watched it and it had a big sponsor, or because it was actually a great game to watch? For everyone else on here I can tell you, it's the latter.

I'm not responding to you again GF, there's something very, very wrong with you and it's a bit disturbing sometimes. Back on the blocked list.
