I wouldn't be too quick to blame locals for the trouble after the game unless you were around. I saw a few visitors goading home fans outside a pub both before & after the game. These are the same group of well-known clowns that turned the Old Cock pub over around 6 weeks ago with a nothing to do with football incident, allegedly.
It didn't mar my day out, but we don't want that sort of behaviour anywhere, let alone at sports events.
I feel the football club are really on the up & if they can get promotion back to the football league, i'm sure their crowds would be greater than the RL club on an average basis. Exciting times for them, i hope our rugby team can start challenging again for big fixtures.
