kopczak is on 55k salary..when you compare that to masons salary its a joke how mason got that wage packet!

fielden was on 60k.

so kopczak is not on the big money that some people seem to think, he is one of our better props too 2nd behind crabtree for me.

Didn't really stand out for me in a less than average pack last season, save for his one big hit a game. People are forgetting Anderson was a top prop himself, he knows, if he was any good we would kept him. I'm astounded he managed to get in the green and gold.

Totally agree.
Really excited when we signed him, but ended up underwhelmed with his performances. PA gave him the opportunities and the game starts, but he was one of our lazier and less impactful props.

His heart never really looked into it.

A shame really. Wish him well down under.

Excited to seeing huby now.

Think huby is going to be a very good signing for us, extremely good at off loading something we lacked big time for me last season. And something other teams did to us which caused problems. If you've got that in your arsenal, u cause bother

It was Kaufusi's decision to go not andersons..it came as a shock but the club agreed to release him.

he was our best prop back end of the season when he was finally getting a run of games, showed some real fire in his belly and aggression.

our hopes lay with hughes and huby bringing this next season.

Again if a player doesn't want to play for us then I am glad they are not kept on! Kafusi had a lot of potential but couldn't do the mins for us his impact wasn't what it could be!
For me we should be getting mulally the game time! He looks very impressive every time he plays, the meters he makes in collision are great! Makes it very hard for the opposition to stop him but ando never gave him big stints which I just could not understand!

Can you blame Kaufusi for wanting to leave after the way he was treated last season? sent on loan to bulls and basically told he can go rot with them, credit to him for saying no i want to play for the giants and got himself back in the team! also if you have a 2 yr deal on offer from top NRL side, not many are going to say no especially after the above.

certainly time for mullally to step up this coming season, served his apprenticeship now so to speak

I don't think any of us saw the best of Kaufusi last season but I think you'd have to say the same about all our forwards so it's hard to judge him on one season. I wish him all the best back down in the NRL and hope he finds his top form again.

I disagree with the comment about him not giving us enough minutes. The problem for me was he took a while to warm up when bought on but then everytime he built up a head of steam on the field and started to make an impact, he was replaced - something a few of us would comment on at matches. The same with the loan to Bradford - just felt he didn't get a full crack at showing what he could do. Having said, that if it was going to be the same next season it was right decision for all that he chose to move on.
