A win would probably be my favourite ever rugby league moment but at least we'll still be in there fighting should we get pipped. Our result last week now looks a good one although I'm sure some people will find a way to put a negative spin on that verses a hugely positive one for the Kiwis today.
Each side -- New Zealand and Samoa -- was stronger in defences than last week. There were three tries each, unlike last week, when each side scored five tries. Yet the attack was spectacular on both sides, with Joseph Leilua the standout. Once again, however, Samoa lost because of goal kicking.
England is definitely competitive, but it has to mark up in defence against Australia if it is to win.
