Others ooc: Craig Hall, Jake Webster, Rhys Lovegrove, Joel Clinton, Ben Galea, Jordan Cox (?), Liam Watts, Scott Murrell, Dave Peterson, Louis Sheriff, Nick Johnson, Chris Heil, Aaron Ollet.

Rumoured out - Jake Webster linked with Castleford.

Rumoured in - Lopini Paea (?), Sean Gleeson, James Laithwaite on loan (initially?).

Paraphrased from the chairman's column in Rovers Review:

'Difficult decisions... Craig looking to shape his own team... youth will be given its chance, even if it means a step back to go two forward.'

THink both clubs are looking to youth going forward, and I hope so.

not having a go, but rovers would benefit from getting their foreigner quota down.

Wonder if theres any truth in the rumour Hudgell's going to sell up to the Allams. Sure as hell hope not, that family would destroy this club (i.e. immediately merge us with Hull) if they ever got their hands on us IMO.

100% agree, although there is a lack of British talent on the market, so replacing overseas will have to come from within. The fact that Wigan & Saints are after Matty Smith tells you all you need to know about the quality available.

INdeed, with the amount of players looking (or rather rumoured still) to be wanting out of FC, I am getting a bit concerned. Think you appear to have more youth ready to step up at the moment than us. We look good for the future from what I have seen of the 20's, but some not quite ready yet.

Youth systems appear to be cyclical at clubs, and it seems to be our 'harvest' time. Maybe in 2 years time it will be the other way around?
