Good interview with him in today's League Express...says he has had minor operations on his fingers and knee, and also got married in the off-season, but is now raring to go along with the rest of the squad.
The article also says that we have a "full complement of fit players ready to start preparing for the forthcoming campaign"

Excellent bit of forward thinking by the club to get the players with injury under the knife, rather than try to chase the slim chance of a top 8 finish, which would have had massive repercussions for the start of this season.
But don't tell NGB4C!

I agree. Brave because not everyone would like it at the time. We could have finished higher but did what we need to do.
A fresh start next season will be very valuable.

It was the sensible option. As soon as the club were safe the focus quite rightly shifted to 2015. Hopefully the rest will have done Kirmond the power of good and he comes back as the 2012/13 version and not the injury plagued 2014.

I would hope that a fit Kirmond partnering with Tim Smith from the start of the season will see a dramatic improvement on Kirmond's form, back to his best.

Possibly....I did see him driving up Marsh Way last week, but didn't see which way he went at the top !!

Probably why he has had operations to his fingers and knee.
Couldn't pick the cup up properly?
And couldn't sit for long periods with his knee bent?
