How do we think the structure will work?

How will we fair in the structure?

For me I feel there will be fewer grumbling and more content fans about the place. The opportunity is massive, those top championship clubs are bound to raise bigger crowds of the back of playing clubs like Bradford and those who don't qualify for the top 8. Gives them a real shot to get up and improve.
As for the top 8 that in itself will be great week in fixtures putting the best sides against the best sides no rest bite from an easy weekend fixture.

How we will fair well, can see us being in the top four at the end of the normal rounds. Probably with with wire, wigan and saints but leeds, Salford (with a full squad pre season) hull and hull kr (with new halves) will all be massive obsticles.
However once in the top 8 I feel we won't be able to keep the intensity to win game after game against the best sides week in week out and drop off slightly. Although the best way to get your team and club used to playing these fixtures is by playing them, so I am hopeful that with a consistent finish the next few years at the upper end of the league we will start to win a lot more

It's going to be harder next year in my opinion.
No business end for quality teams like Wigan to think about. Every game matters. I personally think we'll struggle for top 4 after the regular weekly rounds but will be in a position to fight for it when the league splits.

Wigan, Warrington, Saints & Catalans for the top 4.

Hope I'm wrong.

Hard to conclude yet with clubs being yet to complete their pre-season recruitment but with the new structure and the current look of our squad I think it will be a considerable achievement to finish in the Top 4. That's not being negative but simply a reflection of how we played last season and the fact the new structure requires a Top 4 finish to get in the Play-Offs.

goes without saying we need a big improvement on last season, at what point do you think anderson could be in danger of losing his job? anything outside top 8 would be failure.

Yes if we didn't finish in the 8 that would be a massive step back for us as a club. For me Anderson is doing well and is making us a main stay at the top end of sl! The only issue I would ever have would be how he has had situations like last year, the players not putting 80 minutes performances in. Down to the players but we never really saw it last year and it cost us in the end

To be honest i overlooked Catalans. With how well they did even after losing Webb, Pryor, Scott d! And now adding carney and casty coming back they will be a greater threat! Looking like a very competitive league next year on the face of it!

We are an established top 4 team now who each season gets written off by some Fartown fans and in general the rest of SL. It's a different format this coming season with alot more riding on the regular games due to the 8 team split. I think we'll finish top 4 again and it will be anyones guess how we fair after that as it's a brand new format. Who would have thought Saints would go on to win the Grand Final after all of their injury problems with the supposed mighty teams of Leeds and Wigan saving themselves throughout the season for the playoffs!!!!! We'll be fine again this season with a great chance of getting to a final.
