It would now appear that 'should there be any truth in these rumours' then after 'discussions' this morning apparently any issues there might have been regarding the North Stand has been resolved, sense has prevailed, an agreement reached and all the ground will now be open for all games in our 150th year! Oh and of course some folks will deny there was ever even an issue in the first place! :wink:

You're funny. Sacked? Pearson was a self-employed consultant. Who kindly agreed to settle out of court.

Allam's at it again, stirring it up with the council about who owns the SMC. The sooner this madmen sells up and leaves our sporting clubs alone the better.

Sounds like another attempt at getting the stadium to me. It basically say the stadium is mine, HCC have no legal right to anything to do with it. FC make losses, City make money, I fund the losses so just give it to me

Spot on Seb of coarse it is and the HDM are loving it its funny how they dont challenge him on the running of the SMC like lack of big events concerts etc.. its was all well when we had bigger crowds and the profits that were made from our club we are just being used as a tool in Allams quest for ownership of the stadium.

Thats a reasonable assessment of the article.

However, what Allam fails to mentions is the SMC is exactly that, a stadium MANAGEMENT company.

The SMC doesn't own the stadium either. Whats is of more concern to me is the lack of involvement the legal owners of the stadium have shown (publicly) in an asset of theirs which is being run at a loss since Allam took charge.

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.;

This move by Allam is quite serious as he is basically stating that the council have no jurisdiction over the stadium. Dr "Allarm " has always been pushing the barriers back, the stadium is being run down very few people other then the two clubs use it now. He has done various little stunts against FC over the past few years and clearly wants us out.

This will continue until such times as he either, moves on or we do ...................
