The club has announced they are to go full time with the academy, so for those wondering where the extra sky cash is going...maybe this is your answer

I think this is a massive statement for the club. Much has been said about the players we have signed or are not signing for next years campaign. Personally I would look at what we have and what we can get out of them, a good squad that can place us high for a good few years to come.
The academy shows how the club is looking to the future long term not just next year. Sky has given us some extra brass and rather than looking at overseas for the quality player to win us a trophy we seem to be investing it in youth and the next generation of players to come from within. Got to give it to the club, its the best way to go!

This is great news. The future looks very promising. Hopefully in a few years we will have the same production line as Leeds, Saints etc...

We have a fairly small number in our academy, that means we definitely need to keep them. The facilities need sorting as currently it's holding us back I feel.

whats happened to the lockwood park facitilties idea that was mentioned few years ago, seems to have gone quiet
