LC TV off season : Tue Oct 21, 2014 9:53 pm

The first two games of the off season Games from yesteryear are now on LC TV.

They are the first two away games of the 2001 season Whitehaven and Widnes Vikings.

I was planning to show the friendly v South Sydney from this year but at the moment the DVD seems corrupted I will endeavor to save the file but am not holding much hope to be honest.

Please dont expect High Def they are second generation copies from VHS tapes.
I hope this doesn't spoil your enjoyment of these games.

Two great Leythers made their debuts that day The Great Turls and me ;-)

It was my first ever game behind the camera, not had time to have another look at it yet but will have a try soon.

Have watched both games from 2001 and have to say the difference in the speed of play and last season is quite noticeable.

Think a lot of lapsed Leythers will have watched our Grand Final win and will make a return next season.

We play the most entertaining rugby of any pro RL side in this country and if you don't believe that ask any fan who supports another club'and who did watch that televised game if they agree.
