Plenty of discussion/abuse for French RL on the VT.
A couple of things for me.
Firstly this isn't solely a Catalans Dragons issue, it's the game in general.
Secondly maybe France needs to unify its season with that of the UK to avoid the situation where half the squad are tired from a long super league campaign and the others are under prepared being only four matches into the domestic season.

yes we did ok first half but the likes of danny brough made difference we just did not have that super league class out there but well done scotland and now ireland what a result
It might benefit France to align the seasons. I think it would do us more favours tbh because it would mean our reserve players would be ready to go when we need them during the season.
Aligning the season probably wouldn't have made too much difference. Ireland had a solid team of Championship standard players. IMO the Elite(outside the top 3/4) is not as strong as the championship.
I read once somewhere that FFR didnt want to move their season because the summer there might be too much for semi pro players, dont know how much truth there is in that.
I know I really don't have the answer, and I dont think there is just one answer
