When you sent me a pm the other week i replied i told you Myler wasn't going anywhere ... the fact is Myler never was going anywhere , Myler was always gonna be our scrum half next season , and finally Myler was never part of or had never heard of any conspiracy theory involving Andy Gatcliffe... Our chief exec has got a little bit more class than to say what he really thinks about message board rumours and any unsettling affect they may have on the player.. So yes he probably did choose his words carefully ... but not for the reason you think

Then you will also remember I was sceptical about the source of that info.

Myler's main problem is that he's tried to a number 1 playmaker, he was more Maguire than Briers, should have stayed that way. I think he has gotten a lot better defensively, I think he'd be an amazing hooker.

Well it looks like Myler is here for another year, and if he wants to be around longer he better have a fantastic 2015. He needs to improve hugely with his kicking game and significantly with his general play or GOB will have officially replaced him and he can be ushered to the door labelled "unfulfilled potential".

For me, the only significant disappointments of this year were the CC semi and the continued enigma that is Richie Myler.

A lot of players, including Richie, are needing to have a big year next year to earn their place. Great for the future.

I agree Vespid one of the positives from this/last year is that it sets us up for next year as a year potentially beyond potential for quite a few players. As well as the perennial potential of Myler, also this applies to both Evans', O'Brien, Laithwaite, England, Russell.

Can't wait for a good off season and the next campaign

I think Laithwaite is going the right way.
He'll definately be a knights player next season, if he was at Wigan, he may well had been on the plane to Aus.

Sims, Wheeler & Clark will be looking to make a good impression too.

Asotasi, Grix, Westwood etc will want to make up for last season for different reasons, injury, poor form etc.

All very positive, we have a surplus amount of players and they'll all want to make the 17.

Myler rumour resurfaced. Not beyond the realms of possibility is my understanding and situation remains fluid. RM wants regular first team action and has a better chance at HKR. We shall wait and see I think.
