The Warrington and Cheshire Rugby League Management Board have been working hard to develop their ‘Big Hit’ Strategy – encouraging more people to play more Rugby League, more often.
Through the announcement of SKY Grassroots funding for The Warrington Wolves Charitable Foundation, the Management Board have committed to deliver the strategy in partnership with The Foundation and want those with an interest in the development of Rugby League to join us for a presentation to explain the exciting plans. Wednesday 29th October 2014 – The Platinum Lounge, The Halliwell Jones Stadium – 7.00-8.00pm Newly appointed Warrington Wolves Director and member of the Rugby League Management Board Mike Lomax will explain why he is involved, along with Leader of the Council Terry O’Neill and members of Rugby League Development Team. We will also be providing an insight into the forthcoming Warrington Man of Steel Awards in November; an evening to celebrate grassroots Rugby League within the town. An exciting time for our sport in Warrington, a time we want you to be part of! Places must be reserved as we will be inviting a cross section of the Rugby League community.
