Seeing how the season has finally panned out I consider this season a success. If we had been offered 1 trophy out of the 2 major ones on offer then I would have ripped Nigel Wood’s arm off. Of course I would have loved to have lifted the SL trophy also, and was envious of the teams today; but congratulations to Saints they have shown some real character and desire for a change. Who’s shoes would you rather be in tonight ,Wigan’s, Wire’s or Huddersfield’s, all trophy less disappointments. As a Leeds fan it is certainly sweet tonight.
I do wonder what those Leeds fans who have been drooling over Wigan on here for the last 12 months think about Wigan today and especially their style of agressive approach which quite a few praised post Magic Weekend game.

Same. But I also wonder how those arrogant, head in the sand Leeds fans, who continually said "meeaaahhhhh" on here, and said we we had proven we could win the GF from anywhere, realise how silly they were.
Especially considering that this year of all those years, could have been the easiest of successfull seasons,

If BJB had been playing instead , and Briscoe hadn’t dropped that b*llock(and I am not scape goating him) then we may have ended with the double, but its just conjecture, seems Wigan could not win it from 2nd place or anywhere this season. Maybe Leeds' chickens will come home to roost next season who Knows? We shall see I suppose in due course.
I enjoyed the grand final. If was a close intense game. Wigan with 13 win it comfortsbly. Saints didn't look that good. Poor kicking game but just got over the line. Fair play to them they have shown spirit by the bucketload to keep going this season. Iwas pleased for wellens and roby who I think are champion players
Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

I wish Leeds were as aggressive and as skilful as Wigan have proved to be this season. One thing is for certain, watching Wigan week in week out will be a hell of lot more entertaining than it is watching the old men plod around Headingley. Say what you will about Wane his sides defend with passion/intensity and attack with flair and structure. Yes Flower got it badly wrong but so did Sinfield in the game against Cas.

We would have lost at Huddersfield, it would have made no difference. We were the 7th worst team in the comp, that was the bottom line of our season. I suppose considering the coach, and the fact many of the players were at an end, that maybe yes we could consider that a success.
" Nothings changed for all the deaths or their ideas created, its just the same fascistic games but the rules arent clearly stated nothings really different , all governments the same , they can call it freedom , but slavery is the game "

Fair enough , but in years to come no one will remember Leeds finished 7th , but will remember we won the challenge cup . If winning trophies is a measure of success then this season is a good one for sure .
