The adult is just showing the little one who is boss, humping is a form of dominance for dogs. You need to start telling the older dog off for it, though it will wear of soon as soon as the adult dog believes that the pup knows who is boss. I have two dogs and the only problem I ever had was the younger one went for the older ones chew stick and ignored the growl, the older one totally cornered the younger one and I thought she was going to bite it, she never but I was worried sick and told the vet the vet said the older one was just teaching the younger one who is boss. I feed them in separate rooms and have always had strict rules which they both follow, they get on great now and are inseparable. The vet also mentioned the younger one may at some point try and gain dominance but this has never happened nor is it likely to imo as the older one is more wily.
