Hull rivalry: Airlie Birds didn't get the worm. : Sun Oct 19, 2014 10:42 am
It is hard to fathom, but Hull KR have completely outdone Hull FC with their recent signings of ace winger Kenneth Sio from Parramatta, and especially scrum half Albert Kelly and his close mate stand off/centre Maurice Blair from the Gold Coast Titans. Kelly is one of the most talented halves in the NRL. He is behind only Catalans' acquisition of Todd Carney as one of the most exciting signings in years for northern hemisphere rugby league. When you add former London speedster Kieron Dixon, and former Newcastle goal kicking wizard full back/winger Joshua Mantellato to the new Hull KR mix, it appears that Hull KR will have one of the best back lines in Super League. My concern is that Hull FC has been caught napping, and that the smaller east Hull club is going to be the dominant locus of Super League success in the great city of Hull.
Why did Hull FC management let this happen?
