The original poster is correct we're short at centre. We don't need more wingers, especially if the rumours re Owen are true.

yeh but Webster as said we are going with a small squad so the person who said hall has not been signed for centre does he realy believe hes been signed with only one position in mind?

The answer to your question is yes otherwise he would not have said so, whether or not it stays like that will I suppose depend on other circumstances beyond Webbo's control.

exactly.someone was saying we have no cover for centre only Ryan and Gilmore who arnt realy centres.so i said Craig hall and some one said hes not signed as a centre.maybe he int but he could cover there if needed

Personally I steer clear of commenting on team selections where I can and leave it to the man who gets paid for it, it's less frustrating when he doesn't pick your player selection, Im sure he's got things sorted in his mind hopefully in Webbo we trust it causes less anxiety, fwiw TRB does not usually say things for the sake of it and if he's said it, it will not be far off.

Why sign old men and players we've already let go before our own kids.
If we genuinely don't have a current option for wing then let Johnston (spell?) have it.

If we sign Owen, he should still have an equal chance.
