Clark has been told in no uncertain terms that he is not leaving unless a very, very high offer is made. Seems he has rather shot himself in the foot by requesting a transfer only 8 months after signing a very lucrative 5-year deal, as the club are now looking for a much bigger fee if he is to move.
I'd also be surprised if Warrington will be willing to match the money Clark is on a Cas.

Mummy duck is now thoroughly depressed. SHE was the one that was famous for losing five in a row........until the 2011 GF!!!!!

The problem that Cas have is to try and convince a young lad to give his all, week-in, week-out when he obviously wants out a the club.

Cas have rejected 2 offers from Warrington for him now, the 2nd one was a very good offer too so if they wanted to sell him they would have accepted the 2nd

Like I said, just a matter of time. Money talks, and we have it.

We're Warrington and we'll sign who we want.

How much money, specifically, is Clark on?

wire will be able to match if not better what he is on at cas we have a few players leaving the club who will be on a lot of money so there will be no problem with salary.

All this talk of fantastic transfer fees seems to me to be ridiculous considering all the talent we already have within the club .At present we seem to have talent oozing through every blade of grass on the pitch so do we really need to have the services of an obvious journeyman who has now decided that he wants to look for a crock of gold & renege on a five year deal which obviously suited him at the time of signing.

Agreed it maybe no problem to pay his salary, but it has to fit under the salary cap for the squad. That could well be an issue.

A hometown lad, Who is a fan of the club ?

Daz is a professional, If he wants to be petty, And throw the next 4 and half years of his career away. Thats up to him, He will never make international honours. I am rather sure, he will put his head down and show the world what a talent he is.

I have no doubt this kid is the real deal, And if someone paid 500k for him. They would still be getting a great deal.

Fwiw though. He signed his new contract at Cas. That put him on a large deal for a 19yo. Cas understood the importance of tieing him down to a massive contract. So i would be surprised if you could pay him more than we could with the Salary Cap
